A couple of days ago, we cut down a tree that was about to grow into the studio.
Well, as expected, it fell into the creek, so we set about to haul it out. I set up a come-along since it was too big for us to drag.
We took turns cranking on it.
The come-along we have is only about five feet long, so after you pull it five feet, you have to reset everything. It was a long and tedious process. Not to mention tiring. We also had to keep trimming limbs because they kept getting caught. Tim was there to help.
It was slow going. But then I had an idea. I hooked a rope to the hitch on the Mustang.
And looped it around a tree.
Much to my surprise, it worked!
Tim’s dog, Mick, helped, too.
